Last night was the first night sleeping with a cast, and can I just say "I HATE IT!" I am not a back sleeper! I love sleeping on my side and stomach! Ugh! I'm hoping and praying that going with the cast versus the shoe or boot will pay off in the end and I won't have to wear the cast as long as I would have the shoe or boot...and I'm happy that I listened to my body and stayed off of my foot/didn't try walking on it. If this is all over July 3rd you can bet I'll be celebrating over the 4th of July!!

My next challenge will be showering with this thing on and keeping it dry!
And yes, this is my 1st official broken bone, and I'm 31 years old! I'm pretty sure I broke a toe back in 2002, but I never went to the dr.
